Cozumel Mexico Victor G. Brito & El Gran Azul: Scuba Diving in Paradise.. Cozumel Scuba Diving instructor, Victor Brito, was born on May 22, 1953 in Mexico City the oldest child of the family. He was educated in Mexico City and holds a bachelors degree as a hotel technician from the Mexican School of Tourism, the official school of the Mexican Hotel Association. 
Since 1971 Victor has been working in tourism. His first experiences were in hotel administration and front desk/reception management. This work took him to various parts of Mexico and even parts of Arizona in the US. In 1975 his work in hotel administration brought him to the island of Cozumel.He has worked as front desk reception administrator in several of the older hotels on the island. It is this previous experience in tourism that high levels of service ( which includes highest levels of safety) and client satisfaction are Victor's priorities with his own business 
In 1977 he became a certified scuba diver here on Cozumel under the training of a local dive instructor. His love for the sport of scuba diving was born. In 1985 he received his PADI Dive Master certification, and in 1987 he earned the PADI title of Dive Instructor  To this day Victor has yet to stop learning about diving and the underwater life system. Over the years, he has earned the title as a PADI MASTER Scuba Diver Trainer with 8 specialties, as well as the distinguished recognition as a REEF Fish Specialist.  He currently volunteers with the National marine Park by survey the reef system for various fish species. He has been the president of the island's scuba diving instructors association since 1995 and actively participates in activities promoting reef conservation. He currently is involved with both the local technical high school as well as the University of Quintana Roo ( UQROO) Campus Cozumel in sharing his knowledge and diving resources with their students.  Victor loves scuba diving and sharing his knowledge with all who dive ( or even snorkel) with him. Generally, folks learn more and more about the marine life on every immersion with him, even his faithful repetitive following of international divers he has.
