A Bed and Breakfast Accommodation Alternative On the Laguna Bacalar
Now Wireless High speed internet available!
Opened in February 2001,the Bacalar bed and breakfast,
Amigo's B&B, is located on the shores of the Laguna Bacalar, "Lake of
Seven Colors". Amigo's B&B offers it's guests the bed and breakfast
experience assuring total relaxation with comfort.Bacalar is located in
the south of the state of Quintana Roo about half hour north of the BELIZE
border.
At Bacalar bed and breakfast, Amigo's B&B in June of 2006 expanded to five guest rooms which include:
- A/C, ceiling fans
- Private bathrooms with hot water
- Palapa covered terrace overlooking the spectacular lake
- Choice of SINGLE or KING bedding options
- Purified drinking water
- Remote control color TV
The veranda overlooking the lake is where the daily breakfast is served. Our breakfast includes:
- Freshly brewed Mexican Coffee
- Assortment of Herbal and Black Teas
- Hot and Cold Cereals
- Yogurt
- Bread with Jams and Butter
- Locally grown Fresh Fruit
For your enjoyment, Amigo's B&B Bacalar has kayaks to use on the laguna.
In the living area you will find a stereo with CD player, books,magazines,and a "Bacalar Information" book. Now we also have a "computer" station with access to high speed internet where you can check your email!!
On site parking is available for those who arrive with a car. Town and the Fort of San Felipe are a short,1.5 km north of Amigo's B&B Bacalar.
